- Running for a Cause - 2011 Marine Corp. Marathon in Honor of Jay - Michelle Bon Salle, member of the Board of Directors for the Jay Bon Salle Foundation, is bringing awareness to congenital heart disease and honoring Jay by running in her first marathon on October 30. - The Jay Bon Salle Foundation is pleased to announce the partnership of the Jay Bon Salle Fund and Children’s National Heart Institute at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC.
- The Fund now provides non-medical financial assistance to families in need of congenital heart treatment at the Miller School of Medicine Division of Pediatrics and Children’s National Heart Institute.
- The success of previous events combined with the generous support of friends and family, the Jay Bon Salle Foundation has raised over $575,000.
- Every dollar raised, is deposited into the Jay Bon Salle Fund and disbursed directly to the families.
- In the last two years, the Jay Bon Salle Fund has assisted 11 families and is continuing to identify opportunities to help other families in need.
